The Johns Hopkins University Association of Information Technology Professionals Student Chapter - JHU AITP Chapter - is focused on providing networking, current & existing technology & technique education and skill development to the student body of The Johns Hopkins University.  Our purpose is to empower our student members to become the foremost leaders in the arena of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Systems. We are a not-for-profit organization, affiliated with the National AITP Chapter and recognized as a student organization of The Johns Hopkins University.

Our current Chapter President is Lee C. Meyer (née Mitchem) a our Vice President is Marialina (Lina) U. Bello.

Student Membership:
Once you have reviewed the AITP Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct; please download, complete, scan and email the membership application and a current copy of your resume to aitp@jhu.edu . The JHU AITP Board will notify you via email of your acceptance to the chapter and at that time an annual $25 membership fee (special discount for 2009-2010) will be due, which covers the National AITP Membership fee.  Your membership dollars provide you with access to the National AITP Chapter's network & events. If you are a JHU alumnae/alumnus or an area professional interested in joining AITP, please email us at the address above and we will be happy to put you in touch with a chapter in your area.

Calendar:
Find up coming chapter events on the calendar & register through the post on our Eventbrite page. Our events our free, and with your membership dues we can keep them that way! Your R.S.V.P. for upcoming events ensures enough refreshments, seats and materials for everyone. We will also post events to the calendar that are hosted by other learning, professional & AITP organizations, which may be of interest to you.

Discussion Posts:
Feel free to post discussions on IT & IS Topics.  Subjects may be broad-based, ranging from IT hardware to project management, our chapter covers it all. Please share notifications of upcoming IT/IS events in the Maryland, D.C. and Virginia that may be of interest to other chapter members. But please do not solicit business. If you are a recruiter, contact Lee C. Mitchem to discuss our job/internship posting procedures.
