The Johns Hopkins University Association of Information Technology Professionals Student Chapter - JHU AITP Chapter - is focused on providing networking, current & existing technology & technique education and skill development to the student body of The Johns Hopkins University. Our purpose is to empower our student members to become the foremost leaders in the arena of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Systems. We are a not-for-profit organization, affiliated with the National AITP Chapter and recognized as a student organization of The Johns Hopkins University.

Student Membership:
To become an official student member of the JHU AITP Chapter, please register with the National AITP Chapter at: https://www.aitp.org/general/register_member_type.asp?

To renew your membership, please go to: http://www.aitp.org/ and click on Renew

and select Maryland - Johns Hopkins University - Student Chapter (11092) as your local chapter.

The yearly student Membership fee is currently $30 paid to the national chapter.

Graduated Student Membership:

If you graduated as an AITP chapter member in good standing, you qualify for considerable membership discounts for the first three years post-graduation as follows:

1st Year Post Graduation: $35

2nd Year Post Graduation: $45

Find up coming chapter events on the calendar and in the Communicate > Discussions > Announcements area. We also post events that are hosted by other learning, professional & AITP organizations.

Event Registration:

Please register through the posted event's link in on our DISCUSSIONS section on our Eventbrite page.

Our JHU Chapter events our free! Your R.S.V.P. for upcoming events ensures enough refreshments, seats and materials are available for everyone.

The Washington AITP Chapter provides us with a discounted event fee of $15 (normally $35), which includes a three course meal and free valet parking. Please register for their events by R.S.V.P. ing using the email provided on the event notification.

Discussion Posts:
Feel free to post discussions on IT & IS Topics. Subjects may be broad-based, ranging from IT hardware to project management, our chapter covers it all. Please share notifications of upcoming IT/IS events in the Maryland, D.C. and Virginia that may be of interest to other chapter members. But please do not solicit business. If you are a recruiter, contact Lee C. Meyer to discuss our job/internship posting procedures.
